This game was built on a proprietary engine internally, by HeR Interactive. It is loosely inspired by the book Nancy Drew and Hardy Boys Super Mystery: Secrets of the Nile.

Set near Cairo, Egypt, Nancy joins a dig team under the leadership of Jon Boyle. When he is injured during a sandstorm, suspicion arises when it is diagnosed as not an accident. Accidents keep following the remaining team members, so it’s up to Nancy to find out what’s really going on. Will she also find the tomb of the legendary “lost queen,” Nefertari?

This mystery game is puzzle-heavy and exploratory. The environments are rich and fun to move around in, as the player unlocks new rooms and chambers while solving the case.

Other features:

The card stock slipcover (known as the O-card) features spine art on both sides. One side depicts the Queen’s half of the face, while the other half depicts the mummy side of the face as shown completion on the front cover. When two O-cards of either side are set next to each other, the face is complete.

This game introduced a new User Interface (UI), featuring the wood bar and side-scrolling inventory tray, with a magnifying glass menu button, new menu features, and a new task list and journal set up.

This game resolution increased from the previous title, Alibi in Ashes. Alibi was at 800px by 600px. Tomb increased to 1024px by 768px.
