In Nancy Drew: Shadow at the Water’s Edge, Nancy must locate the Culture Room (room 18 on the first floor) and meet Takae again. To find the room, face the front lobby desk and turn to the hallway on the right. Step into the hall and turn left. Walk all the way down to the exit doors, and click to your right to find the door with the sign for room 18.
Takae offers lessons on Japanese traditions, and the first lesson is how to write your name in Katakana calligraphy.
Pick up the paint brush and click and drag your mouse over each numbered line without picking up the brush mid-stroke. When you move to the next line, if Takae says it isn’t good enough, you must start all over by clicking on the extra sheets of paper.
There are no cheats (that I know of), so you must have a steady hand and just keep at it until your writing is 90% (or more) perfect.
