In Nancy Drew: Shadow at the Water’s Edge, you will receive silly text messages of pictures from the Purikura booths at the pachinko parlor. There are a total of 7 to receive and will randomly come in 3-7 minutes real-world time from the events listed below.
- After George calls you telling that Bess has Logan distracted and you can call Savannah. (TextPic1)
- Finish the origami lesson with Takai (TextPic7)
- Call Bess and George about getting help taming Suki (TextPic6)
- Solve Renogram puzzle (TextPic5)
- After spying on Miwako and Rentaro. (TextPic2)
- After solving the color symmetry lock and climbing down the cherry tree (TextPic4)
- When you see the pool change colors (TextPic3)
Text messages will not come after 1:30am, or if you are in a puzzle, conversation, cut scene, or if you are anywhere in the Expo.
Once you have all seven pictures and look at them in your Messages app on the phone, Nancy will comment on it. Go to the Kure station and enter the Pachinko Parlor. Step into the Purikura photo booth and click on the phone doc to place your phone. Click on the panel on the right to print photos.
Your photo library will be viewable, and you will need to select each one and click print, for each individual photo.
Easter Egg: If you print the scary ghost picture, you will get the cat Easter Egg!
In your inventory, click on any of the pictures to enter the puzzle mode. Arrange the photos so that the symbols can be spelled out. Refer to the video for the exact placement.
If arranged correctly, Nancy will mention that you should ask Yumi about these.
