Here’s how to how to solve the Dalibor Knight Armor Puzzle in Nancy Drew: Mystery of the Seven Keys.
After you snoop Adela’s bag and receive the translated Alchemist’s journal, open the book up to flip through the pages. You can better read it by pressing the R to Read the text in a simpler font. Three riddles are given.
Go and talk to Patricie about everything you can and especially about the riddles. The dialogue option is “I need a hint.” From that, you can ask about each riddle. While talking to her, be sure to ask her about where Leo is, and ask her about seeing the knight in armor lurking outside at nighttime before bringing these riddles up.
Riddle 1: Born in fire, I am left cold…
Patricie will talk about armor in the castle’s Exhibition haunted tour. This alludes to the armor of the Dalibor Knight.
Enter the castle exhibition space and click on the A-frame board at the door to change it to night and take the Haunted Tour. Step up to the Dalibor Knight armor and click on it. Five points show where you can adjust the armor. The goal is allow the moonlight to streak across from the tip of the sword, going across the body and head, and down the shield, without the light getting interrupted.
From left to right, adjust each point:
- First point (his right hand) = 2 times/clicks
- Second point (his right shoulder) = 1 time/click
- Third point (his helmet) = 2 times/clicks
- Fourth point (his left shoulder) = 1 time/click
- Fifth point (his shield) = 2 times/clicks
You will know it is correct when you can only click on his helmet to open it up and get the papers.
