In Nancy Drew: Sea of Darkness, Nancy can fill orders in the kitchen. There are 15 solution combinations, but the foods are randomized and three are presented in each order. Read the guide by clicking the “Help” button in the game to understand the puzzle.
To the left of the screen are the arrangements that are needed. Click and pick up the animal images and place in the trays below.
The arrangements count by rows, and 4-part tray groups. The faster you solve the puzzle, the more tips you earn. In Amateur Sleuth level, every 45 seconds your tips drop by 100 Kronur (coin). In Master Sleuth level, your tips drop by 100 Kronur (coin) every 30 seconds.

b. Puffin: Lundi
c. Minke whale: Hrefnusteik
d. Lamb: Hangikjöt
e. Salmon: Lax
f. Shark: Hákarl
g. Sheep’s head: Svið
h. Skate: Skata
i. Seal: Selshreifar
Since the animals are randomized, there is now way of giving the exact spoilers/cheat/solution. However, I can give you the tools to find the answer, but honestly, it’s faster to simply solve the puzzle with some trial and error.
First, get out your phone camera or a notebook and pencil. Refer to the video to see the 15 combinations of answers, and write them down, or snap a picture of the screen. Be prepared to capture all 15 solution combinations.
Next, start your game and adjust your settings in the game to play in Windowed mode, it will really help. Step into the pub’s kitchen and approach your first order. Now click out of the game. This will “pause” your game.
Number the animal foods 1, 2, and 3. Then write those number combinations down. Look at your list of solution combinations to find which one is the match. For example, if you see 23313, 211, 3323, 13, 1123 in any listed order in the game, you have found Solution Combination “A.”
