In Nancy Drew: Midnight in Salem, Nancy must help Judge Danforth unlock his office, which is to the right when you first step into the courthouse. Ask him through the door if there is a spare key and he will direct you to Alicia Cole, just down the hall. Ask her for a spare – which she doesn’t have – and get a paperclip from her instead.
Use the paperclip on the Judge’s door to initiate permission to pick the lock. Use the paperclip on the pins by looking for the pin with the most resistance, and click and drag your cursor upwards so that the pins align with the edge. When you release the cursor, if the pin stays in place, it is in the correct position. If the pins spring back, you didn’t choose the right pin, or you didn’t drag them to the correct height.
Move each pin in this sequence, numbering the pins 1-4, left to right: 4, 3, 5, 1, 2.
