The Nancy Drew Notebooks series was written for young detective readers ages 5-8. Nancy and her friends Bess and George are 8 years old and in the third grade. While the series ended at #69, a new series began called “Nancy Drew and the Clue Crew” which was also written for young readers and fans of the Nancy Drew Notebooks. This series was published by Pocket Books and Aladdin Books for Minstrel Books.

Extra Notes
While many of the Nancy Drew Notebooks published by Minstrel Books are mostly white covered, the ones published by Aladdin have an additional red banner that reads at the top of the front cover: “Ready for chapters.”
In this series, Nancy, Bess, and George attend third-grade at Carl Sandberg Elementary School in River Heights. Their teacher is Mrs. Reynolds. In many of the Nancy Drew Notebooks, there are ads for the Nancy Drew PC/Mac games by HeR Interactive. In book 59, the ad was printed directly in the inside back cover, featuring Nancy Drew: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake. Interestingly, the game art shown is the non-final version:
