The Syberia series is an adventure game featuring female protagonist Kate Walker, played in 3rd person as a point and click style. The series an ongoing story and playing it in order is important to a player for full context. You can watch the game play in my YouTube playlist here. The games were first published for Windows PC, but over time have been ported to PlayStation 2, Xbox, Windows Mobile, Nintendo DS, Android, OS X, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, iOS, and Nintendo switch at later dates.
The story starts out with New York lawyer Kate Walker traveling to a remote factory in the alpine valleys. Her mission is to help handle a sale of an old automaton factory, however, her expedition sends her from Western Europe to Eastern Russia to find the owner. Players will encounter unique characters, solve puzzles, explore the areas in an attempt to track down Hans, the genius inventor. Little does the protagonist know, this adventure will chance the course of her own life as she learns more secrets of Syberia.
Syberia:
The first game in the series was released for Windows on May 30th, 2002 but was later ported to the other platforms listed above. It was designed by Benoît Sokal and published by Microids and Tetraedge, composed by Dimitri Bodanski. The game is available present day on Amazon Luna, Nintendo, Steam and GOG.com.

Also known as Syberia II, the story of Kate Walker continues immediately after the end of the first game. Developed by Microids, and MC2 France, the game initially released March 29, 2004. This game improved the character animation and graphics since the first game. The game is available present day on Amazon Luna, Nintendo, Steam and GOG.com.

Syberia: The World Before
Calina of StoryRetold plays the fourth game in the Syberia series by game developer Benoît Soka. Released on March 18, 2022, this mystery adventure game features the female protagonist Kate Walker.
