In Nancy Drew: Midnight in Salem, Nancy can spot a pumpkin on Teegan’s counter at the museum. Once you see the pumpkin and click on it, you’ll be able to ask Teegan about them. She says that they are free to carve and to place throughout Salem for fun.
If you place all twelve pumpkins, you will unlock an achievement (which is award number 5 in the list).
To carve the pumpkin click on the pumpkin again to enter puzzle mode:
- Use arrows on the left and right to select 1 of 3 pumpkin shapes
- Click “Select shape” button to confirm
- Use arrows on the left and right to choose eyes, nose, and mouth
- Once you are happy with your pumpkin, click the knife-shaped “Carve” button to add the pumpkin to your inventory.
Look for the candles on orange plates through Salem, and leave your pumpkin on them. You can only carry one pumpkin at a time. Two candle locations are not available until day 2 – the one in at the Carriage house on the Hathorne Estate, and inside Luminous Infusions.

Museum:
1. On the counter by the flyers
Town Square:
2. Hay bale in between stage and courthouse
3. On Olivia’s stage
4. On the rock of Roger Conant’s statue (it can help to enter inspection mode to see it)
5. On the steps of the courthouse
Cemetery:
6. Across from Little Liberty statue, under the big tree
7. At the unmarked graves
Parry House:
8. Front porch steps
9. Kitchen island
10. Guest bedroom window
Hathorne House:
11. By the carriage house steps.
Luminous Infusions:
12. On the counter to the left of Lauren
