In Nancy Drew: Midnight in Salem, Nancy must snoop Alicia’s office, match the water works map to a map of Salem, and then find the source of ergot that could taint the water that Nancy and her friends have been drinking.
After you receive the USB drive for the CCTV camera footage on day 4, head to Alicia’s office and look on her desk. Open the dark box to find the demolition offer, and a sketch of a water source. You can also read the Colonial Property Law book, which explains how the main living space must be inhabited to maintain possession.
Head into the evidence room and use your Water Works map on the map of Salem on the wall. Right-mouse click to rotate the Water Works map to right-side up. Then use the left mouse button to click and pick up the paper. Hover the paper over the map until it changes color. Click to drop the paper on the Hathorne House.
Make sure you have the Rust-B-Gone spray can, which can be found on the bookshelves at the Parry house.
Head to Hathorne House and step towards the Carriage House. Look to the left, and down at the ground. Click to open the valve and use your Rust-B-Gone to release the stuck wheel. Open to reveal your evidence.
