HeR Interactive’s 7th installment to their PC/Mac Mystery Adventure games based on the classic female detective, Nancy Drew! Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake released November 2002. The PC game is available for purchase at herinteractive.com, Steam, and Amazon.com (affiliate link) as digital downloads.
To quote the game description from HeR Interactive, here’s what the mystery game is about;
Hunt for Clues on the Trail of a Pack of Phantom Hounds! You, as Nancy Drew, must pick up the cold trail left by a notorious gangster who once lived in the lakeside cabin recently purchased by Nancy’s friend. Are the ghostly legends true, or is there a flesh and blood answer to the dogs’ haunting howls? Decipher cryptic puzzles, search through shadowy wood, creepy old houses, interview suspicious characters, and dodge danger to sniff out the truth behind local legends to solve the mystery in Nancy Drew: Ghost Dogs of Moon Lake.

Set in Moon Lake, Pennsylvania, Nancy sets out to visit her friend Emily at her cabin. Oddly, Nancy arrives and her friend is gone, having been scared off by ghostly dogs who attack at night. Are the dogs real? It’s up to Nancy to learn the truth behind their haunting attacks.
This game was built on a proprietary engine internally, by HeR Interactive. It is loosely based on the short story “The Ghost Dogs of Whispering Oaks” from the Nancy Drew Ghost Stories book.
