To quote the game description from HeR Interactive, here’s what the mystery game is about;

Expose Buried Secrets and Catch a Thief Red-handed!

Between cases, Nancy Drew has taken an internship as Deputy Curator at the Beech Hill Museum in Washington, D.C. Nancy soon discovers she will be doing more than learning about ancient Maya artifacts – there have been a series of thefts and the only clue left behind is a mysterious scarlet handprint! Will Nancy be able to put the pieces of this ancient puzzle together? Or will the mystery remain entombed forever in Nancy Drew: Secret of the Scarlet Hand?

Set in Washington D.C., Nancy takes an internship at Beech Hill museum under the curator Joanna Riggs. After starting off with some simple tasks in getting the museum’s new Maya exhibit ready for opening, the jade carving of King Pacal is stolen, and the thieves leave a menacing red handprint. It’s up to Nancy to find the carving and expose the thief or thieves in time for the opening.

This game was built on a proprietary engine internally, by HeR Interactive. It is loosely based on the book by the same name from the Nancy Drew mystery adventure series.
