HeR Interactive’s 1st installment to their PC/Mac Mystery Adventure games based on the classic female detective, Nancy Drew! Secrets Can Kill, released Nov. 23, 1998. The PC game is no longer available for purchase.

Read Between the Lines to Expose a Killer! A family visit throws you, as Nancy Drew, into the scene of a crime that happened only last night! Jake Rogers is dead, and a secret died with him–or did it? Roll up your sleeves and dig into an engrossing mystery that is full of places to explore, puzzles to solve, suspects to question, danger to evade and evidence to evaluate. A wily killer may still be on the loose…so keep your wits about you in Nancy Drew: Secrets Can Kill!

Set in Florida, Nancy visits her Aunt Eloise, who is a librarian at the local high school. Paseo Del Mar high school’s student Jake Rodgers was murdered and the police are baffled. Since Nancy is close to the same age as the high school students, she goes undercover to learn more from the students who knew the victim.
This game was built on a proprietary engine internally, by HeR Interactive. It is loosely based on the book by the same name from the Nancy Drew Files series.

This game was discontinued due to system compatibility with newer operating systems. It was remastered for Nancy Drew’s 80th anniversary in 2010. This game was grouped in the 5 pack of boxed games for the 75th anniversary of Nancy Drew.
Made available in a 2-disc Russian translation version! No disc switching, except for during installation with the Data disc, as this version was released in 2008. In the game files is a pdf showing many other Russian games by other studios, with a section for the other available Nancy Drew games in this language:
