In Nancy Drew: Shadow at the Water’s Edge, you will get trapped in a room with ghostly sounds. The only way to escape is through the balcony door, which is locked by a stained – glass style lock with six symmetrical sides. Click on a color to the right and click on an empty section to fill it with that color.
While it is a timed puzzle (less time for senior detective level), there is no simple cheat to get through this. You will have to be thorough and accurate as fast as you can be. If you mess up, you can choose the last color light, black, and click on your mistake to erase it.
Helpful tip: if you adjust your game settings to play in windowed mode, you can click out of the game to “pause” it. This will help in your timing.
If you are color blind, the following solution in the video may help, but you will still need to be fast. I have labeled the colored lights by a shape. Pause the video at each color and take a picture for reference.
