HeR Interactive’s 12th installment to their PC/Mac Mystery Adventure games based on the classic female detective, Nancy Drew! Secret of the Old Clock, released July 2005. The PC game is available on herinteractive.com, Steam, and Amazon.com (affiliate link) as digital downloads.
To quote the game description from HeR Interactive, here’s what the mystery game is about;
Venture into the Past and Outwit a Criminal Before Time Runs Out! It’s 1930 and Nancy Drew is asked to visit Emily Crandall, in Titusville, a girl whom Nancy knows only through a mutual friend. She and her mother had been counting on the generosity of their kindly but strange neighbor, Josiah Crowley, to leave them part of his estate to support the inn they own. But in his will, everything was left to Richard Topham, his ESP teacher. A contested will, a suffering girl, suspicious psychics — can Nancy solve the mystery before time runs out in Nancy Drew: Secret of the Old Clock?

This game was built on a proprietary engine internally, by HeR Interactive. It is based on and inspired by the Nancy Drew books Secret of the Old Clock, The Hidden Staircase, The Bungalow Mystery, and Mystery at Lilac Inn.
Set in the fictitious town of Titusville in 1930, Nancy is called in to help Emily Crandall, who recently lost her mother and needs help placing her mother’s jewels in a bank. Her guardian, Jane Willoughby, says Emily has been acting very strange, even forgetful. With the businnes of the Inn to run, Emily is out of her element and needs funds. Disappointingly, the recently passed neighbor, Josiah Crowly, didn’t leave anything for Emily in his will, even though he kept alluding to it.
Nancy begins her investigation and helps Emily out, traveling around town and running errands for her Dad and earning tips from delivering telegrams.
This mystery game feels like a large world, as the player gets to use Nancy’s car and drive around town using a birds’ eye map.
