In Nancy Drew: Treasure in the Royal Tower, you collect three medallions and find the clues to what symbols they coincide with. In the tower, on the floor are the symbols. Place the medallions accordingly.
Red = Courage
Blue = Honor
Green = Loyalty
Then use your key from the painting and place it in the center to unlock the pedestal.
